Beau Blacken - Hitting

Former professional and full scholarship division I collegiate baseball player manages the facility and provides training for a variety of baseball skills including hitting, throwing and defense.

Beau graduated from Lake Stevens High School in 1999 where he batted .540 with 19 home runs as a senior. He was named to the all-conference and all-state teams and was awarded 1999 Everett Herald All-area male athlete of the year.

After high school, Beau played Junior College at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M where he was named All Conference shortstop in 2001.  In 2002 he made the leap to New Mexico State University where his team won the Sun Belt Championship.  During the 2003 season, New Mexico State won 45 games and was an "At Large" bid into the college Word Series Regionals.

After college, Beau signed his first professional contract with the Chillicothe Paints in the Frontier Independent League.  During the 2005 season, he was named First Pro All-Star selection.  During that season, he was traded to the Evansville Otters where he was named to the 2006 All Star team and won the MVP award.

Beau currently resides in Lake Stevens, enjoying life as a coach, mentor and father.

Joey Dettrich - Pitching

Joey graduatied from Arlington High School in 2007 and received a scholarship to play baseball for the University of Washington.  At the same time, Joey was drafted in the 18th round of the 2007 MLB draft and signed with the TAMPA BAY RAYS.

Unfortunately Joey missed the second season due to "Tommy John" surgery.  He was able to return in 2009 and led the team with the lowest EA (2.92) and also wins with 5.
